Stohn Hard Fork Announcement
We are delighted to share with you that the development team has completed the hard fork, and it is now ready to be deployed. While there have been some changes in the content of the fork, we are pleased to announce that the update will resolve the block discovery issues that arose from unstable hashrate from a few pools. Unfortunately, the planned change in block time to one minute will not be included in this update. However, we will continue to work on it and test it, and we plan to include it in a future update.
The most notable changes that will be implemented include an increased block target timespan to 504 blocks, as opposed to two blocks, and a decreased maximum hashrate increase to +100% from +200%. The hard fork block height will be at Block 103000.
To ensure a smooth transition, downloads to the new client and nodes will be released on either Friday, May 5th, or Saturday, May 6th. All StohnCoin holders, exchanges, and mining pools will need to update before block 103000. Mobile wallets will also be released soon after the hard fork goes live.
Moving forward, we plan to make more updates on our development progress, partnerships, and possibly even exchanges. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements!
